Jellyfin proved a media server doesn't need a subscription. BurnFlix takes the same local-first conviction and puts its effort into the part you feel every day: opening instantly. The library loads from local cache first — browsing never waits on a scan.
It also widens what a library holds: alongside movies and shows, BurnFlix organizes personal videos, games and apps into the same living-room-ready interface, with metadata enrichment handled automatically and no AI-generated content anywhere in the pipeline.
